The Agrimarket chain is a nationwide store and service network formed by Hankkija-Maatalous Oy, Etelä-Pohjanmaan Osuuskauppa, Suur-Seudun Osuuskauppa and Kymenlaakson Agrimarket Oy. The Agrimarket chain’s net sales totalled 957 million euros in 2007. The chain’s units have approximately 1,000 employees in all. |

The Agrimarket stores are specialised in agricultural supplies and machinery
Machinery requiring special expertise, such as tractors, combines and special implements, is sold by the Agrimarket Machinery Centres, eight in all. The Machinery Centres are located in Hyvinkää, Turku, Tampere, Kouvola, Seinäjoki, Kuopio, Kokkola and Oulu. Their services include trade-in-machinery and contract maintenance. Professional grounds care equipment and golf course equipment are sold at the John Deere Centre in Hyvinkää. The Agrimarket chain has 145 grain reception centres. The seed centres located in Hyvinkää and Alastaro are responsible for the chain’s own seed production. |

Gardening trade at the Multasormi stores
The Multasormi stores are seasonal: they open each spring in April at the latest and close in October. Their selections cover everything you need for setting up, caring for and maintaining your yard: seedlings, summer flowers, bulbs, seeds, gardening machinery and tools, soil, peat, fertilizers, plant protection products, outdoor furniture, grills, outdoor pots, water feature supplies, mini-greenhouses, as well as yard stones and slabs. Even those Agrimarket stores which do not have a Multasormi store, offer basic gardening supplies such as gardening machinery, tools, seeds, soil, fertilizers and plant protection products. Since all Multasormi and Agrimarket stores belong to the S Group, all purchases of gardening products are eligible for the S-Bonus. |

Full-service hardware store - S-RautamarketThe S-Rautamarket stores focus on consumers, specialising in the hardware and gardening trade. Their ranges cover supplies for building and furnishing, tools for building and renovation, supplies for basic construction and products for farm construction. Moreover, there is a Multasormi gardening store in conjunction with every S-Rautamarket store.Solid expertise and excellent service are an integral part of the S-Rautamarket’s mission statement. Besides quality products, the S-Rautamarket stores provide tips and advice from skilled personnel. At present there is an S-Rautamarket store in 21 localities in Finland. The target is that there will be about 30 by the end of the decade. |

Hankkija-Maatalous OyHankkija-Maatalous Oy is a subsidiary of SOK Corporation, which has an 81% holding. The remainder of the shares are held by Yara. Hankkija-Maatalous Oy started operations in 1988, when the agriculture-related and machinery business of the central cooperative Hankkija was transferred to the company. In July of the same year, SOK and Hankkija formed Hankkija-Maatalous Oy as their joint company for the agricultural and machinery trade. In 1993, the company became wholly owned by SOK.Hankkija Maatalous Oy is responsible for the development of agriculture-related trade and of the Agrimarket chain in accordance with the division of labour within the S Group. Seed centresThe Agrimarket chain’s operations include two seed centres, located in Hyvinkää and Alastaro. The seed centres prepare certified seed of all spring grain, autumn grain, pea, turnip rape and grass and feed plants. |

Feed businessSuomen Rehu Oy was integrated into Hankkija-Maatalous Oy in the beginning of year 2009. Suomen Rehu is the leading manufacturer of industrial feeds in Finland. Market share of Suomen Rehu -products in farm feeds is almost 50%. |
